Can I learn perfect pitch?
Perfect pitch, naming a note with no reference at all, is rare, and is mostly found in people who started music very young. Adults can improve at naming notes with training, but very few ever reach it. The good news is that singers do not need it. What you need is relative pitch: hearing how far one note is from another, so you can sing an interval, hold a harmony and notice when you drift. Relative pitch is a skill that almost anyone can train.
