Do You Sound Monotone? Practise Your Speaking Voice in a Minute a Day

Each day DailyVocal gives you a prompt, such as the best meal you have ever had. Talk about it for twenty seconds the way you normally would, then again with more life. For each take you see your pitch variety in semitones (speech heard as monotone moves under about 1.5; lively speakers move about 2 to 4), how many pauses you made and how long they were, and the longest stretch you talked without a break. The drill is turning it up on purpose: the second take passes when it is lively and clearly livelier than the first. For presentations, teaching, podcasts and job interviews, in any language. Free, no account, nothing recorded: only the pitch and loudness are read, never the words.
